Key Features

  • Investment Casting (IC)
  • Fully Open Impeller
  • Advanced Bearing Protection

Key Benefits

  • The back pull-out design and steady supply of interchangeable spares ensure low maintenance duration.
  • Centralized focus on power-efficient pumping solutions designed with higher efficiency in mind.
  • Sturdy, heavy-duty bearing housings and oversized shafts with double-row thrust bearings increase service life by up to 40%.
  • Capable of handling most pump duties by simply replacing bearing or shaft seal modules to meet specific requirements.
  • Reduces the risk of leaks and spills caused by pump failure, protecting the surrounding environment.

How It Works

01

Fluid Entry via Suction Nozzle

Process liquid enters the pump through the end-suction inlet. The nozzle geometry is precision-engineered to minimise entry losses and deliver a smooth, uniform flow into the impeller eye — preventing turbulence and reducing the risk of cavitation even at high flow rates.

02

Energy Transfer by the Open Impeller

The fully open impeller — manufactured via state-of-the-art investment casting for tight dimensional tolerances — rotates at high speed and transfers kinetic energy directly to the fluid. Its open vane design handles low-viscosity liquids including slightly contaminated process fluids, while reducing the risk of blockage.

03

Pressure Build-Up in the Volute Casing

High-velocity fluid leaving the impeller enters the volute casing, where the gradually expanding cross-section converts kinetic energy into pressure energy. This hydraulic conversion is what generates the discharge head — up to 150 m — delivering the fluid reliably to its destination in the process line.

04

Shaft Sealing to Prevent Leakage

As the pressurised fluid moves toward the discharge, the rotating shaft passes through the seal chamber. Depending on the selected configuration — mechanical seal or gland packing — the seal zone prevents process fluid from escaping into the bearing housing, ensuring safe and contained operation even with aggressive chemical media.

05

Discharge and Heavy-Duty Bearing Support

Pressurised fluid exits through the discharge nozzle into the process piping. Simultaneously, the heavy-duty bearing housing — fitted with oversized shafts and double-row thrust bearings — absorbs both radial and axial forces generated during operation. This robust mechanical support extends service life by up to 40% compared to standard bearing arrangements.
